Bandits Kill 3 Zamfara Community Security Operatives

Three officials of the Zamfara State-owned Community Protection Guard (CPG) have been ambushed and killed at Jambako area of Maradun local government area of the State.

According to reports, a source privy to the matter, Sanusi Muhammad, disclosed that the bandits ambushed the CPG officials at Tungar Nayarciga on their way to Faru town.

He said the Bandits also took away their weapons and bikes.

The attack has generated tension and fear amongst the residents in the area.

The Nigerian Voice reports that this came barely a week after some bandits attacked Maradun town, the headquarters of Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State and the country home of Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, killing two persons and abducting about 30 others.
