Real Estate Developers Are Responsible For The Heat In Lagos State - Yemi Alade

Popular Nigerian singer Yemi Alade, has accused real estate developers of contributing to the immense heat in Lagos State.

Recalls that many inhabitants of Lagos State, have been bemoaning the immense heat that has plagued the state for sometime now.

Reacting to the development in a post on her X handle, Yemi Alade stated that everyone is complaining that Lagos is hot, but the actual cause is down to real estate developers, who have cut down all the trees that are supposed to help reduce the heat in the state.

Additionally, she noted that most of the trees that have been cut down actually take about 15 to 20 years to grow, and now that many of them have been used for houses, she questioned how inhabitants of Lagos are going to survive.

Yemi Alade wrote on X:
"Lagos is hot ,Lagos is hot nyenyenye... 2 seconds Real estate developer don cut all the trees!!!

It takes 15 to 20years to grow some species of trees. How we go cope?"
