CAN Members Attend Tinubu's Unveiling Of Shettima As Running Mate

Some members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) were sighted at the Yar’adua Center, Abuja, the venue where All Progressive Congress presidential standard-bearer, Bola Tinubu, officially unveiled Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

This is coming contrary as many Christians have expressed outrage following APC Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidency.

CAN, itself, had vowed to mobilise its members not to vote for the APC’s presidential candidate for snubbing the Christian community in his choice of a running mate.

But on the Wednesday programme, members of CAN were seen queuing to enter the venue to witness the unveiling of Shettima, a northern Muslim as another Muslim, Tinubu’s running mate.
