Ihitte Lgweship Elections, Another Landmark Of The Solution Inclusive Administration -- Prince Neville Uchendu

TC, Orumba South LG, Prince Neville Sunday Uchendu aka Double Mayor has reiterated that the success of lhitte elections is another landstride victory of the Prof Soludo administration.

According to him, the Anambra state government is keen to the full interest of the people by making the positions of lgwe and Presidents- General a necessary tool in community development.

"Today, we express deepest appreciation to Gov.Soludo for his conscious effort to make Anambea a livable and prosperous place.

"lt is also to present Mr Okwudili Timothy Efurunwa as lgwe elect community in Orumba South LG.

He explained that the community presented him to me as their new lgwe after rigorous and thorough traditional electory process. And thereafter, l am here to present him to our Commissioner for Chieftancy and Local Government Affairs, Mr Collins Nwabunwanne

Our hardworking governor has initiated a standard that any elective post like PG and lgweship must be done by his people and not by favoritism.

"Mr Timothy met the criteria for a traditiinal leader and emerged unopposed as the figure head endorsed by the whole community.

ln support, Arch Mike Okonkwo called on the war mongers in the community to sheath their swords of anarchy and division and focus on building a formidable team withthe new lgwe elect to push the community forward,

"Ala lhitte stands for peace and progress. As an indigene, l'm also very happy that this moments have come with songs of victory for us.

He narrated how the PG alongside members of the community took the enormous tasks of screening,and cross examining each candidates and finally Mr Timothy came out as the best candidate for the job.

Okonkwo called on the naysayers to support the new phase of lhitte leadership.

Speaking on the sidelines, the lgwe elect, Mr. Timothy Efurunwa expressed his appreciation over the outcome of the traditional electoral body.

"l applied like every other individual, went through the electoral body, was cross examined and unanimously chosen by the people,

"l am grateful to God Almighty and our dear governor, Prof Soludo for bringing light and hope to my people. l promise to deliver good judgements and ensure justice and equity under my reign," he said.

Also speaking, ESV George Madu, PG, lhitte community eulogise the government standards for choice of lgwe as it makes the process transparent and fraud-free. He called on trouble makers to desist from such malicious attitude and support the new lgwe elect to run a progressive communal life.
