Goodseed Daily Devotional 1st July 2024
TOPIC: THE PRESERVATION AND JUDGEMENTAL POWER OF GOD.
SCRIPTURE: If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead. PROVERBS 26:27 (NLT).
I welcome you to the Month of July, I decree that as you begin the second half of the year today, the God who preserved you from the beginning of the year till now, will make you see the end of this year and beyond, in Jesus’ Name.
In our study today, we shall consider the Preservation and Judgemental Power of God.
Sometime ago, I heard testimony from a pastor in Benin Republic about the Preservation and Judgemental Mantle of God at work in the life of Gods Children.
He said, In Benin Republic, there is a wealthy man who had a witch doctor as his fetish priest. All of sudden, this wealthy man began to have encounters with God. In a dream of the night, he saw four native doctors trying to throw him into a big burning fire, and then he heard a voice, “Only Jesus can save you”.
When he woke up, he narrated the revelation to this pastor who led him in a prayer of surrender to Jesus Christ.
Thereafter, this wealthy man’s native doctor got angry because the man gave his life to Jesus Christ. The witch doctor asked the man, “What have you done? Do you think you can forsake us?”
The native doctor pointed his hand at the man and gave him only three days to live. Before this time, whoever the priest pointed at and mentioned a particular number of days would die at the exact date.
The man knowing the implication of this ran to the pastor and told him, “We know that anyone this demonic priest points his finger at would die at the exact date he mentions. Please, help me look after my wife and children when I am dead”.
Then the pastor took an anointing oil that was with him and said to the man, this oil is anointed by the Lord. I am going to anoint you now, and it shall be to the native doctor according to what he wished you.”
The pastor anointed the man for preservation, and three days after, the native doctor died.
Beloved, the prophecy for you here is that, anyone looking for your life shall go for you.
Make sure you make a total commitment and dedication of your life to Jesus Christ, if you are yet to do so and you can be sure that God will protect you from all adversity.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Preservation and Judgemental Power and Mantle at work in my Life and Family. I connect to that mantle today as I rededicate my life afresh to You, in Jesus’ Name.
