Wife Of Late Mohamed Ali Sets To Meet Afghanistan Sports Department

Khalilah Ali, the wife of late American boxer and activist, Mohamed Ali has been reported to be preparing to arrive in Afghanistan in order to have an urgent meeting with the sports department officials of the country.

Ariana News reports that the arrival date for the meeting with the Afghanistan sports official is slated for Thursday, October 24. Khalilah Ali who happened to be the second wife of Mohammad Ali divorced the boxer in 1977 which was ten years after they married.

The General Directorate of Physical Education and Sport of Afghanistan on Wednesday confirmed the upcoming visit of Khalilah Ali to Afghanistan. The General Director was reported to have said in a statement that the purpose of her visit is to provide a stadium facility for the country. “is traveling to Kabul to build a sports stadium”.
