Transfer News: Juventus Agree Short-Term Loan Deal For Chelsea's Renato Veiga
Concession is reached as the Serie A Juventus have agreed a deal with Chelsea for the loan transfer of the latter's central-back, Renato Veiga. The loan transfer will be valid for a few months.
The loan fee to Juve which is worth €5m and without a buy option clause. Moreover, the deal is reported to be valid until the end of June when the player is expected to return to Chelsea to participate in the club’s World Cup
Juventus had initially requested to buy the player with Chelsea also honing their approval, but the Portugal international, who has 18 appearances for Chelsea in the ongoing season, rejected the proposal for a permanent move from Chelsea. Instead, he expressed a desire for a loan move.
Recall that he was previously linked with Borussia Dortmund who wanted to sign him on a contract fee reported to be around €30m.
As Fabrizio Romano reported, Juventus have sealed his loan move to the club and he is expected to represent the club for a few months.
