Serie A Lazio are edging closer to securing the transfer of Cesare Casadei from Chelsea after an initial bid was sent to Chelsea two days ago.

Fabrizio Romano indicates in his report that Lazio made a bid of €12 million plus a 20% sell-on clause two days ago, which suggests that negotiations are in the final stages.

According to Romano, the involvement of Lazio director Angelo Fabiani, who reportedly has a good relationship with Chelsea, might be crucial in pushing this deal through to completion. This relationship could facilitate smoother negotiations, helping to finalize the transfer agreement.
