Former Bangladesh Captain Tamim Iqbal Recovering Well After Heart Scare

Former Bangladeshi cricket captain Tamim Iqbal has been discharged from the hospital after suffering a massive heart attack during a local game. Iqbal, 36, was leading Mohammedan Sporting Club in a match of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League when he complained of severe chest pain.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors inserted stents to repair an arterial blockage. Iqbal was later moved to a larger health facility in Dhaka, where he spent several days under observation.

According to his doctor, Shahabuddin Talukder, Iqbal's health condition has improved, and he has been discharged. However, the doctor emphasized that Iqbal will need to follow a rehabilitation program and modify his lifestyle to prevent future health issues.
