Scottish snooker player Graeme Dott is facing serious allegations of sexual abuse involving two children, leading to his immediate suspension by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA). Dott, the 2006 World Snooker Champion, is accused of abusing a girl and a boy, both approximately 10 years old at the time of the alleged incidents.

The first charge involves Dott allegedly abusing a girl between 1993 and 1996 in the Glasgow area. Prosecutors claim that Dott instructed the girl to remove her clothing and then exposed himself before sexually assaulting her. In the second charge, Dott is accused of entering a shower where a young boy was, stripping naked, and assaulting him between 2006 and 2010.

The WPBSA confirmed Dott's suspension, noting that the case is set to be heard in the High Court in Scotland. The announcement comes just days before the 2025 World Snooker Championship, a prestigious event at which Dott triumphed 19 years ago in a dramatic final against Peter E
