Musa Returns to Kano Pillars Ahead of NPFL Clash with Lobi Stars

By Okiki Oluwasegun

Ahmed Musa has rejoined training at Kano Pillars as they prepare for their crucial NPFL matchday 33 clash with Lobi Stars this weekend. The 32-year-old forward, who had been away on a prayer trip in Saudi Arabia, missed a few of the team’s recent league and Federation Cup matches but is now back in action.

Musa has been a key player for Kano Pillars this season, scoring six goals so far and providing much-needed experience and leadership to the squad. His return to training is a significant boost for the Sai Masu team as they aim to secure vital points in their ongoing battle in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

However, the team will be without midfielder Shehu Abdullahi for the Lobi Stars game. Abdullahi was absent from training on Wednesday due to personal matters and has been granted leave. The midfielder is expected to be available for Kano Pillars’ next match, a home game against Enyimba in matchday 34.

Kano Pillars are currently sitting 9th on the NPFL table and will be eager to secure a win to improve their standing. With Musa back and Abdullahi expected to return soon, the team will be looking to build momentum and push for a higher finish in the league.

The match against Lobi Stars is set to be an exciting encounter as both teams are in search of crucial points to improve their positions in the league standings. Fans of Kano Pillars will be hoping that Musa’s return can help lead the team to victory.
