Juventus And Barcelona On Osimhen’s Radar As Transfer Talks Heats Up

By Okiki Oluwasegun

Victor Osimhen’s future remains one of the most talked-about topics in European football, with new reports suggesting he is weighing options beyond his current loan spell at Galatasaray. According to Turkish journalist Mehmet Ozcan, the Nigerian striker is considering moves to either Juventus or Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Osimhen, who is currently on loan from Napoli, has been in sensational form for Galatasaray, netting 29 goals and recording six assists in 33 matches across all competitions. His performances have sparked interest from top European clubs, with Galatasaray reportedly eager to retain him beyond this season.

However, Ozcan claims the 26-year-old has his sights set on a bigger stage. “The experienced center forward currently has two other teams in mind besides Galatasaray: Juventus from Italy and Barcelona from Spain,” he said during an interview with *Sabah*, as reported by *Habersarikirmizi*.

The Nigerian forward was close to joining Chelsea last summer, but the move fell through, leading to his eventual switch to Turkey. Despite ongoing transfer speculation, Osimhen recently emphasized his focus on the present, saying, “There are always rumours about me, of course. But I prefer to live in the moment. I am enjoying myself right now. I am enjoying both the club and my life here.”

Osimhen is expected to make a decision on his next move at the end of the season, with fans and clubs closely monitoring his next steps. His explosive form and rising stock mean that the race for his signature is likely to heat up as the transfer window approaches.
